Press & Industry Registration for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 Collections is now OPEN...
This July, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim will return to the warm sands of Miami Beach. Taking place on July 14th-18th, the event will showcase international designers from Australia, Brazil, Columbia, and the US, at what has become the premier swimwear event in the world.
The Raleigh hotel, official host of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, provides a picture-perfect backdrop with its understated elegance and art-deco grandeur. The pool which was named “one of the Sexiest Pools in America,” by Condé Nast Traveler, is turned in to a catwalk and social scene for some of the world’s biggest models, editors, photographers and fashion-fans.

May 16, 2011 (NOON): Early Registration is Open ($65 fee per individual)
June 24, 2011 (NOON): Deadline for early registration and inclusion in the Press List
June 24, 2011 (12:01 PM): Late registration opens ($90 fee per individual )
July 6, 2011* (MIDNIGHT): Deadline for inclusion in the Addendum Press and Industry List

Kicking the events off at The Raleigh on July 14th will be Diesel presented by SKYY Vodka. A sizzling runway show of Diesel’s newest swim collection will include the celebrity unveiling of the world’s first glass bikini. The night will culminate with the Official Kick Off Party presented by SKYY Vodka at the iconic hotel’s pool deck and Oasis. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim Official Kick Off Party has always been one of the most talked about events of the summer, and this season will be no different with special celebrity DJs and an invitation-only VIP guest list!

Designer Mara Hoffman might be best known for her namesake line of vibrant, flirty ready-to-wear -- often spotted on the likes of Drew Barrymore, Halle Berry, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Nicky Hilton and many more -- but her swimwear collection is quickly following suit.

Windows PC Press Lounge Debuts
The first ever Windows PC Press Lounge at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 Collections will be open July 14-18th exclusively for press and industry representatives attending the shows.
The Windows PC Press Lounge will provide an area for credentialed press to work, write and file stories, conduct interviews and lounge throughout the event. Multiple workstations will be equipped with state of the art PCs loaded with the latest in Microsoft software products, including Windows 7, Windows Live, Office 2010 and Internet Explorer 9. Press will have immediate access to the email, documents and photos they need to share what’s happening in Miami Beach with the world.
The Windows PC Press Lounge will be located in the upper lobby of The Raleigh. Open daily, July 14-18th from 12pm until show closing.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force Hits Miami...
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim kicks off this year with “arresting style” as the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force, a fully badged 2012 CLS63 AMG hits the streets of Miami to spot “stylesetters” with fresh, creative design looks. Local Miami stylists, media and a special guest have been commissioned for duty to carry out the mission.
Making its way from The Raleigh, home of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, to the chicest neighborhoods in Miami, the CLS63 AMG Fashion Force is pulling over at the sight of a stylesetter and rewarding them with a ride. Each stylesetter chosen by the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force is going to have their picture taken and several are receiving invitations to the Mercedes-Benz Presents Designer runway show, Luxe by Lisa Vogel, as well as an invitation to the official fashion force culmination event, at the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge atThe Raleigh.
